I'm fairly new to this but here's what I have discovered so
far.

raidhotadd/raidhotremove are links to raidstart. There is
a man page for raidstart but there's no mention of hot
anything.

I have been successful adding and removing drives from my
raid1 array. I don't know what implications there are for
using raidhot add on a raid0, however. I imagine there are
serious problems with raidhotremove on a raid0.

Syntax for raidhotadd is:

raidhotadd <raid device> <drive>

eg

raidhotadd /dev/md0 /dev/sdb2

I hope this helps. I'm sure someone will help fill in the
gaps shortly. ;-)

BYW, thanks everyone for the raidhotadd answers that were
posted for me a couple weeks ago.

Cheers,

Scott
