Oh no!
Seems I got some "it doesn't work anyway"-attitude. I only tried it once.

Thus the table should read like:
         3.*   2.5f
         r w   r w (= read/write)
2.1.107  + +   + + (3.* = 3.1f)
2.1.128  + -   + +
...
2.1.131  + -   + + (3.* = 3.1d)
2.1.132  - -   + - (the "-" for 2.5f was single shot after failed write)

Now i have to repeat the tests with 2.2.1, as they were single shot
as well, without proper cycling power, replacing tape, checking tape,
...
And according to some rumor in c.o.l.d.s, there _ought_ to be some
change between 2.1.132 and 2.2.1. (With 2.1.132 + 2.5f I can
only read until the 1st error due to a write attempt, consistent
with those rumors).
