Associated note: With the IBM ServeRAID 3L card installed in it's PCI
slot, 5.2 would install just fine, but at reboot I got LIL and then
nothing (I think it was followed by W30 once when I left it all night).
When I remove the IBM ServeRAID 3L card from it's PCI slot, LILO boots
just fine.
This procedure made one slight difference in the RedHat 6.0 install:
Now when I start the install, it detects and scans the aic7xxx bus, but
finds nothing and then prompts me about whether I have any SCSI cards.
When I tell it I have the the aic7xxx series (2940 etc.), whether or
not I autoprobe, it tells me it can find no such device.
Tackling this one problem at a time, how do I install 6.0 on this
system?
