Sorry for repost this mail ! Because I found the previous one didn't
express my idea.
What I want to say in my first mail is the kernel doesn't load the
module aic7xxx for my SCSI disk during the initialization, not the init
program. I think the misunderstand comes from the affection of my native
language. Sorry again!
And my SCSI disk is not the boot disk. It's just a data disk. What I
want to know is weather my /etc/conf.modules is correct?
in my conf.modules file I used the following two lines:
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
options aic7xxx aic7xxx=verbose,extended
but it doesn't work, Why?
