I have one of these Compaq beasties and attempted to put Linux on it a
couple of years ago only to find that the NCR 710 was supported but not on
the Compaq EISA bus which these machines use.
It's worth keeping the EISA bus in mind when using any of onboard devices on
these servers as not many devices are supported under linux on EISA.
