Hi,
Here is the output of the stty command.
[root@pongo jhall]# stty -a </dev/ttyS1
speed 9600 baud; rows 0; columns 0; line = 0;
intr = ^C; quit = ^\; erase = ^?; kill = ^U; eof = ^D; eol = <undef>;
eol2 = <undef>; start = ^Q; stop = ^S; susp = ^Z; rprnt = ^R; werase = ^W;
lnext = ^V; flush = ^O; min = 1; time = 0;

isig icanon iexten echo echoe echok -echonl -noflsh -xcase -tostop
-echoprt
echoctl echoke
[root@pongo jhall]#
This does not differ from the output on a machine that is running a 2.0.x
kernel. When the device is plugged into that box, cu works fine with cu -s
9600 -l /dev/ttyS1
I did NOT enable unix98 tty's, or whatever that option is called, but I am
now using glibc-2 libraries for other reasons. Do I need to enable unix98
ttys? Will that break something else?
Is that even the reason?
