Hi.
I've just installed Kword and Kspread RPMs. However, when I attempt to
run either, I get the following:
"ERROR: Couldn't find the native MimeType in kword's desktop file. Check
you installation!"
I have satisfied all of the stipulated dependancies (including, of
course, koffice-libs). Has anyone else come across this problem? I'm
going to try compiling it from source instead, but I doubt that it'll
make much of a difference.

Hi,
I run Slack 7.1-2.2.16 and I have the rtl8139 nic chip. when using
"make menuconfig" for a kernel compile the chip is not listed, but in
/usr/src/linux/.config it usually is or 'should' be so I have the same
problem but no answers sorry.
