hda has one system on it, Linux. hdb has two systems, Windows(hdb1) and Linux.
So since how I have basically already done what you have suggested, that is:
boot = /dev/hda
image = /boot/vmlinuz
root = /dev/hdb5
label = linux
and it gives me this boot signature error, I guess I can only assume that my
system is incapable of booting the slave. Is that right? You say "test" the
BIOS. Is this the test or are you leaving something out that you think I should
know but don't?

Yes, it's possible. There are many different ways to do this, but given
the information you've presented, the easiest way is probably to
install Linux on the spare 10GB slave drive. You can then put LILO on
the first drive's MBR to select between Windows and Linux, and use the
existing Windows boot selector to choose between Win2K and Win98.
Another approach to boot loading would be to put LILO on the Linux
partition and configure it to boot Linux only, copy the boot sector to
a file on one of the Windows disks, and add it as an option to the
Windows boot loader.
There are several Linux/whatever dual-boot HOWTO documents that may be
of interest (check http://www.linuxdoc.org or other HOWTO
repositories). For far more information, you might want to check my
book, _The Multi-Boot Configuration Handbook_
(http://www.rodsbooks.com/multiboot/).

I think there was a comment about this somewhere... (Can I be any more
vague...) As far as I recall, it was an issue with authentication (similar
to the problems with NT before, but a little different). As I dig further
into the recesses of my mind, something about master browsers comes to
mind, and the issues between master and secondary browsers, but I can't say
for sure. I'd check the samba pages, or ask in col.networking...

I've never tried it by entering ks=floppy at boot, but here's how I got it
to use my ks.cfg file on the boot floppy;
make the following change to your syslinux.cfg:
default ks
prompt 0
label linux
kernel vmlinuz
append initrd=initrd.img local ks=floppy
Beware, your packages (RHPs) are on 2 CDs, and I've not had any luck
installing them with ks.cfg, since we all know that silent installs do not
prompt for CD #2, so you'll either have to skip the silent install of the
RHPs, copy the distribution files onto your HDD or do an NFS install.
Good luck.

The ks.cfg file looks fine, so I'd say the whole thing is getting ignored.
Try using the ks.cfg on a boot floppy and make the following change to your
syslinux.cfg:
default ks
prompt 0
label linux
kernel vmlinuz
append initrd=initrd.img local ks=floppy
Beware, your packages (RHPs) are on 2 CDs, and I've not had any luck

You could just redirect the output of the Lotus Domino server to > /dev/tty6.
You just need to make sure that the device /dev/tty6 is capable of being
written to based on the effective ID of the user which is starting the Lotus
Domino server.

Hi!,

It should just be a matter of installing the sendmail rpm onto your system.
There are also reports that the sendmail which ships with Redhat 7 doesn't
bind to the external interface automatically. If this is the case, then you
just need to locate the line in the /etc/sendmail.cf or /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
which talks about which interfaces to bind to and remove them.
If you want to go for other options like qmail or postfix, then both the qmail
web site: http://www.qmail.org and the postfix web site http://www.postfix.org
provide instructions and HOWTOs on how to install their various products.

You are not the first person to buy a controllerless modem (aka Winmodem)
when you already had one. The "real" Zoom pcmcia modem is model 2975 and
works fine for me.

You may need to check to make sure that the VPOP3 server is loaded on your
system and is running and not the standard POP3 server which ships from
RH7.0. I am not sure whether the standard pop server which gets distributed
with RH knows about virtual domains.
