Tell me your application and I tell you what hardware can do the job ...
We've recently done experiments with fp intensive calculations and our
cluster 50 x 666MHz 21164, 256mb, diskless + Quad Xeon as fileserver did
perform very impressively. Check out QuantX's Alpha systems.
