Tonite I was running and one of my 3 lvds drives (SC450NX chassis
using the symbios scsi controllers built in) just 'went away'. It
was mounted and had been used for two weeks (machine had been up for
almost 2 weeks, 2.2.5 booted on april 1 I think). I tried umounting
and fscking the disk, but it appeared to be 'not ready'. A remote
reboot and everything is back to normal. This is 'new' to me, but
seems pretty rare. Anyone else seen this (I am using the latest
NCR53C8xx driver, not the one distributed with the kernel, as this
one has the latest stuff for the symbios SCSI controllers on this MB,
and I have been using this driver for 4 months+)

anyone else seen something similar (quad xeon/400). A glitch in 2
weeks is not bad, but it is unusual for this box that has never glitched
in 4 months so far (knock on wood).
