Hi Searhei, Today I have tested mu Cubietruck with Mainline u-boot 2015.01 and latest stage/sunxi-3.4 branch.
I use 2015.01 u-boot as is. I changed only dram_para structure. tprX registers the same as in cubietruck.fex. Later I will create the set of patches for applying before build for setting needed values in the dram_para struct in the board.c file. Of cource these patches should't be applied to the repository (this is about your question "Which patches?"). When I decrease SDRAM clock to 384, mbus_clk=300 and reduce memory to 1024M by setting density=4096, io_width=16, bus_width=32, size=1024 without tpr3 the test ./lima-memspeed gpu_write works properly. When I set up clock 432, mbus_clk 600, density=4096, io_width=8, bus_width=32, size=2048 without tpr3 I also have good result with gpu_write. ./lima-memspeed gpu_copy doesn't have any chance. It always reboot the system. Unfortunatelly to pass a10-tpr3-test we need to have ruby on the board. When I will set up Ruby, lima-memtester and a10-tpr3-tools I will try to made reports for my H5TQ4G83 (512Mx8) memory. Fortunately I already have a good enough Linux distribution for this exercises. Of course I will share my results and experience with community. Thank You for latest U-Boot, Kernel and tools you advise.
