Yes also.  This is the original problem.

This sounds very relevant.  Thanks for the tip.  I'll check it out.

P.S.  I'm writing this using XP and an old version of Firefox.  Previously 
I was using Iceweasel on Wheezy and it just doesn't work with the Google 
editor.  Every key release raises the bottom on the edit window by one 
line.
