find | afio -o -b 10240 /dev/nftape

Yes, but-
There's several different ways to do this, actually...
Here's some tips:
1:
Use find instead of ls, it's just a better idea :-)
2:
Make sure you use 10k blocks! afio defaults to 5k (unless you hard code it
to 10k, I have found that it *CAN* goof up and spit out a 5k block if you
just use the command line. I hardcoded it to 10k.)
3:
There are litterally tons of undocumented options for afio. See the source.
4: use non rewinding ftape devices, thier easier to control.
