It worked fine when I last used mine (it's been a while), though it
was not able at that time to format such a tape it could write/read them.
I haven't tried it since 4.x came out, so perhaps it can now format them
too (or perhaps not, apparently the drive is weird). It would format
2080 tapes but not 2120xl.
