TR-4 are as similar to TR-3 as Linux is to Windows.  IIRC TR-4
got renamed NS-8 for that reason.  TR-4 are usually IDE or SCSI
drives and do not need (nor will they work with) ftape.  Drivers
for IDE and SCSI are implemented in the Linux kernel.
