Is there any optimization options for Iomega Ditto Max Pro, i'm using 
modules/insert script to enable ftape. The drive is VERY slow, maybe 0,5MB
per second, i think. I'm very new with tape drives and i don't know them
very much.. please guide me to right way :)

My kernel is 2.2.1-ac6 and ftape is ftape-4.x-1999_02_08. And i'm using
tar to make backups.

Why ftape is producing these messages, my log file grows heavily?
