The max. transfer rate of the DITTO MAX PRO (I�m using it, too) is
4Mbps. That means 4x1024x1024 bit per second. 1 byte has 8 bits. If
you�re calculating then you�ll find out, that the max. transfer rate
is 0.5MB per second. In the HOWTO there is described that ftape will
produce a lot of errors with the max. transfer rate. I told ftape to
take 3Mbps as maximum.
