I too have a ditto easy 3200. The general consensus that I've seen is that
you need a fast CPU'd machine to bettter to fully use the ditto (ie P166,
P200, etc).

Now, the machine that the my ditto was in is a P200 (I've tried it w/
RH4.1, 5.1,5.2 but haven't tried the new 2.2x kernel) It's still never
worked "quite right". At the time I bought it (when they first came out) I
thought the device was a great deal. However, because I've always had
problems with it, and could never *fully* count on it, I finally broke down
and bought a scsi tape drive a week and a half ago. Now I don't worry, I
don't have hassles, I just have quick clean backups.

I've been told they're the same, and I've been told they are different.
Never got a straight answer on that one... :(
