Gentlemen:
I've come into some (old, used) SCSI hardware, so I've upgraded one of
my Linux boxes (the home network server) from a small IDE drive to a
somewhat-less-small SCSI drive.
So, now that I've got SCSI, I'm wondering if any of you can suggestan
inexpensive SCSI tape drive that I can use to back up the network. The
cheaper (price-wise) the better, as long as its reasonably fast and not
junk! To do that reasonably well it needs to be at least 5 gigs (without
weird windoze-specific software compression--hardware compression is
fine with me) preferably more, and capable of working with an Adaptec
1542c interface card. Either internal or external will work for me.
Thanks!
Fred
