I have a Ditto 2GB tape drive.
I just started using ftape for linux and unfortunately I somehow overwrote the
volume information on one of my needed win95 backups. I read the ftape
documentation and it says that the information is not deleted. I do have
copies of the volume information for the tape on my hard drive. Can anyone
suggest a way to read the data and/or repair the volume information for this
tape?
Also, my tape drive despooled on of my tapes :-(. I seem to remember some
information on repairing tapes. Can anyone point me to some help?
