fair enough!

i am runing kernel 2.2.9 on debian "slink" distribution with the netbase_3.12-2.deb 
and sysutils_1.3.3.1.deb kindly passed to me by the folks on the linux-wlan list (but 
that's another story ;-) and gcc version 2.7.2.3. i also have the pcmcia modules and 
sound modules loaded (though they weren't at the time i got these errors). i have the 
full kernel source tree.

if you'd like any other info, just holler!
