Hi all,

I'm using a redhat 6.0 system, which shipped with version 3.04d. I have
version 4.02 in one of my home directories and the kernel sources in
/usr/src/linux. The kernel version is 2.2.5-15 and I am using the default
floppy controller. After modifying MCONFIG as instructed ( no .config file
in /usr/src/linux )'make' produces the following output :

fdc-io.c : In function 'fdc_interrupt_wait' :
fdc-io.c :433: structure has no member 'timeout'
fdc-io.c :454: structure has no member 'timeout'

and then reports 2 errors

I'm new to using the c complier and tools. If anyone could tell me what may
be wrong I would be grateful.

I hope it's not too dumb a question.

TIA Peter Courcoux
