The Aiwa Bolt / Sony Storestation is a DEAD drive.  Aiwa has thrown in

I like the OnStream DI30.  $299 MSRP, 15GB/tape native, IDE interface.

You will need to install the 2.2.14 kernel sources and patch them with
an IDE-Tape patch, but the drive works fairly well.  And, it can't be
beat at the price.
