I am running a kernel 2.2.14 and compiled ftape as modules so
I assume from the docs that I have ftape 4.02.
The tools I have are definitely 1.07. The modules are loaded
and I can happily make backups using ftape. Vtblc works as well,
just ftformat keeps complaining....
interestingly, when I run the ftape-tool and press format, the tape
is accessed via nrawft0 and I get a different error message :
"Unable to close ftformat pipe"
Still curious...
