I am currently testing a patch from David Brownell to fix the
problem using AMD's approved workaround. So far, it looks pretty
good. Although, I have found the the usbide driver locks up my
machine solid as soon as it loads. I also need to test the devices
where the drivers load fine. If you want to help test, let me know
and I'll send you the patch. :-)
I expect we'll have a patch ready to send to Alan and Linus in
the next day or two at the most.
