Hi! I am trying to get working my Philips CDRW 400 Series.
It sometimes works sometimes it does not i.e. hangs during in a middle of a write which is fine for CD-RW but not so for CD-R I got the following message: cdrecord: faio_wait_on_buffer for writer timed out. I compiled the driver simply by replacing freecom.c in my Red hat 7.2 2.4.19-21 sources by freecom.c from bitkeeper. Could someone tell me if this may be the reason or it is unrelated?
