I also tried it on a StrongARM board. Same problems. Also, it doesn't detect
stuff properly on the second port.

Hugo Fiennes wrote another ISP1161 driver (and it device controller support
for it) which he says is pretty solid. Unfortunately it's tarred in a 85M
file on their web site. I'm busy getting it now.
