Maybe not the same bug. I had a few (3-4) reports that the CDC ethernet
driver occasionally dropped the device, requiring a cycle of events
(not unlike Harm's) to get it to work again. Some people reported
tens of minutes, others reported tens of days.

Seemed to be restricted to usb-uhci on Via, but I can't reproduce it, and
people have stopped complaining.
