If you mean a userspace application that shows hiddev read and write, try: http://www.frogmouth.net/hid-doco/examples/hiddev-misc/write-events.c The Linux HID documentation isn't anything like complete, and I'm working on other things, so don't consider that site to be anything other than "snapshor of work on its way to first draft" quality. That example is designed to be run against a keyboard, to make the LEDs cycle. You'd need to turn off CONFIG_USB_HIDINPUT to allow hiddev to claim it. The code is utter crap - it was a half hour rush job. But it is the only public example I know of for writing hiddev. Anyone else? Brad - -- http://linux.conf.au. 22-25Jan2003. Perth, Aust.
