Hi Oliver,
Yes the camera is the only USB device on the bus.
And I just checked: after there are no more interrupts for USB after
the camera has died.
There is a kernel message from the pwc driver:
"pwc_isoc_handler() called with status -75 [Babble (bad cable?)]"
Reading the pwc-if.c shows that the -75 corresponds with EOVERFLOW.
Beyond that I'm clueless because I know almost nothing about the USB-stuff ..
