Actually I mean the field named bcdDevice in the USB 2.0 spec, which is
described in Table 9-8 as the Device Release Number.  Yes, that's more
accurately referred to as a revision number than a serial number.  But the
matter is moot, since Doug realized that the two devices have the same
endpoints.
