That shouldn't happen. Does it behave the same with the current 2.6.5 kernel (there were a couple of changes to the UHCI resume code added after 2.6.4 came out)? If it still fails in this way after resume, could you post the contents of /proc/driver/uhci/0000:00:1d.0 both before the suspend and after the resume?
