The nvidia modules work reasonably in 2.6.5 for me (though not flawlessly). We hit some mount hangs using USB pen drives (the mount process would get stuck in the kernel when plugging and unplugging devices repeatedly). Since we're on a deadline, and we'd also have to port another driver for 2.6, I'd like to get 2.4 to work for now, if possible. > AFAIK, the takeover code wasn't changed.
