That's right. I had it connected through a hub at that time. To see if that is 
working better - as Samuel Colin suggested in 
http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?t=110977360700002&r=1&w=2

But I did not touch the cable or the hub, I were out at that time. And the 
cables are ok. So it looks like the same reset/disconnect bug I experience 
all the time.

Does this give any hint if the bug occurs between controller and hub or 
between hub and usb-ide chip? Or is that a different layer?
