I realize that I didn't explain very well what this patch does, thinking that
the group would remember its discussion earlier (a month or so ago).

This patch adds usability to the Maxtor Onetouch button on the Maxtor Onetouch
External Harddrives. The button is recognized as a programmable key, you are
able to edit its action with any program which handles keyboard shortcuts. In
windows this is provided by drivers that come from Maxtor. In linux it does
nothing, until now.

Dear usb-devs,

I have worked on my patch a bit since the last time I submitted it to
you in
January/February. I would appreciate if you could take another look at
it and
tell me of any problems that you can see and/or apply it to the working
kernel.

The patch is both attached and available (hopefully) at
http://nsillik.ath.cx/~nsillik/usb_storage_onetouch.diff

Thanks in advance,
Nick Sillik
