Nothing in the log either? No oops, nothing? How long did you wait before
rebooting?

Using 2.4.5 and usb-uhci on an Asus P3V4X, I once copied 14 gigs in one go
with no problems, so I _have_ tested it a little bit. :-)

Do you have any other device you can try writing this much data to at this
rate? (To try to pinpoint the error.)

Has anyone else tried the isd200 driver with ohci? Anyone running a USB
harddisk of any kind on an OHCI controller?
