Cypress Semiconductor acquired ScanLogic in 2000. As part of the
product-integration process, the ScanLogic web-site was recently rolled into
the Cypress web-site.
The tools required to upgrade the SL11R-IDE firmware to the 2.6 version can
be found here: http://www.cypress.com/support/.
Under "Tools and Software", click "Reference Designs". On the "Reference
Designs" page, click "Full-Speed Peripherals". In the "Application" column,
find the row "Full Speed USB to ATA", then click on the link
"SL11RIDE-Combo" to download a zip file containing tools and instructions
^
-------------- This should be SL11RIDE-DK
You should also uninstall any previous versions of the sdk first, then run
the setup program that comes with the above zip file.
When thats done, do the following:
cd "\win98\start Menu\Programs\scanlogic\usb2ide"
usb2ide
The usb2ide.bat batch file will then program your device for you
The direct link to the zip file is:

------- This link is correct and points to SL11RIDE-DK.
Contained in the zip file is "sl11ride_usb2ide.pdf". Instructions on
performing the upgrade will be found on page 12 of this technical reference
manual.

easily fixed. If you go to the scanlogic website there is a ( win98 only )
binary you can download to update the firmware. I did it myself this
weekend.
