I can think of two ways to fix this (beyond obvious use or procmail and/or other tools). 1) linux-usb-devel can be changed to prohibit posts by non-subscribers. By definition, this is the list for developers, and probably a developer is subscribed. If not, what kind of developer s/he is? :-) 2) linux-usb-users list can be changed to look for POSITIVE match, not a negative one (such as all caps, plenty of exclamation marks, or dollar signs). Instead, the filter should reject all mail that does not contain something USB-related, such as "kernel", "driver", "USB", "cable" etc. All mail that is rejected should be bounced to the sender, and if he is a real person he will resend (or fw: to maintainer to adjust filters - this part only if the maintainer agrees :-) Cheers, Dmitri
