Stephen: I can imagine that left uncontrolled, there would be a lot of spam on the list. Obviously, there are good reasons to let people post without being on the list. And also obviously one spam is not enough to ban all non-members. However, I would imagine that there is some limit past which this would not be tolerated any more. Granted, I am probably a bit over excited due to being on the receiving end of A LOT of spam.
