It's absurd to think otherwise  when time of developpers is limited.

According to reports of various folks it won't work with current driver.

there. You can use google as well. You can download the whole archive an 
search it locally.

Wrong assumption. The projects are parallel. Actually this is the wrong
discussion list to discuss it. Use linux-wlan list instead.
