Hi,
I seem to have a problem with my USB setup.
When I power up the system (P4 desktop, Intel D845W
m/b, SuSE 8.0) the USB driver for my HP6200C USB scanner
does not come up properly. The kicker is that about half
the time it comes up OK, the other half it doesn't.
Wierd or what!
In /proc/bus/usb
I have two numbered directories, indicating that I must have
more than one USB controller on the motherboard.

I have noted the following differences between the two
situations in the list below.
I'd really appreciate it if someone here could take a look at
this list and see if there is anything messed up here.
Or suggest something to try.
