No. It's a new RH 8.0 system. The problem is noticeable as soon as the local filesystems are mounted during boot-up. Either my optical mouse lights up, or it doesn't. I'm pretty sure that's before cron and atd start, but youmakea good point. I'll turn cron and atd off completely until I get this resolved.
