Bug report
A) USB hangs up with AOpen AK73(A)-V motherboard and Red Hat 7.3
B) Full desription of the problem:
I have found 2 kind of bugs:
1) A IRQ problem:
when the "Set USB's IRQ" is active in BIOS the sistem does not find the USB
camera (HP Photo Smart 618)
and "dmesg" gives:
IRQ routing conflict for 00:07.2, have irq 11, want irq 9
I have overcame the problem by setting the BIOS option "Set USB's IRQ"
inactive and giving the IRQ
manualy through the comand:
setpci -s 00:07.2 INTERRUPT_LINE=5
This was necessary because the system by itself gave IRQ=0 to the USB
controller, as resulted from
"scanpci -v": (see below)

2) The USB hangs up tranfering big files from the camera.
USB looks to be configured well.
a) I plug in the camera and see it trough "usbview".
b) I can mount it with:
"mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /proc/bus/usb/001/"
c) I can see the files in the camera:
"cd /proc/bus/usb/001/camera01/"
"ls"
ftifold.inf im000328.jpg im000329.jpg im000330.jpg im000331.jpg
im000332.jpg
im000333.jpg im000334.jpg im000335.jpg
(but sometimes even this does not work, it hangs up)
d) When I try to copy the files,
"cp *.jpg /home/kamera"
if the files size is big, it hangs up.
C) Keywords:
kernel: 2.4.18-3 (I tried even on 2.4.20, with the same results)
