What type of error you get in syslog? Anyway you have a VIA chipset... probably this is the source of the problem. It seems there is no solution or workaround (even if windows is more able to recover such errors).
I got some results following suggestion (bios setting) in http://www.usbman.com/Guides/VIA%20Tips%20and%20Tricks.htm#Bios I also set from bios usb irq as PRIMARY, while hd and ethernet irq to secondary (I have no video card on linux system, so you can try also video card to secondary) The problem is still here, but really less frequent now. The problem is also on Windows systems.I have two pc with same VIA chipset, one with window and one with linux, and some peripheral give the problem on both systems, other works prefectly in both. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On > Behalf Of Paolo Berti > Sent: Monday, June 02, 2003 9:21 PM > To: sourceforge > Subject: [Linux-usb-users] Help!
