You can't run it with the stock RH9 kernel, you need a 2.5.50 or 2.6
kernel.  Might be worth getting a recent 2.6.0-test, I'm using -test5
on an Athlon 1300 and it seems fine.  For lsscsi itself see for example

Hmmm.  If you can try a new kernel, grab lsscsi from the website,
install it on your system and see what it says.

sr_mod.  They're kernel modules.  This is a learning-curve warning. :)
Check out the kernel module HOWTO, you should have it somewhere on
your system.  A module just adds some functionailty to a kernel that
otherwise wouldn't have it.  All kinds of things, like support for
USB, can be in modules.  Those two are SCSI modules - there are a few
different ones.  If you want to know what modules you have loaded try

/sbin/lsmod

at a shell prompt.
