There was a previous post on the same topic (msg 08457, on Nov 6th), but I
could not find an answer. I am also running RedHat 9, on a dual-Xeon
machine (Dell Precision 650, running the original RH9 SMP kernel) and only
devices plugged into the backside ports work. Devices I plug into the
other USB root hub (front ports) never appear anywhere, although the root
hubs themselves are visible (I believe the third root hub is not connected
to any actual ports, there is just a header on the motherboard for those
ports--I am not sure which is which below). Again, if it helps, here is
/proc/interrupts; I can see no PCI-related errors in the logfiles.
