Hello! Erm... you're right; either Dell forgot to plug it in, or it snagged on one of all those compartment dividers (for airflow) and it was pulled out. So, problem solved (now if I can figure out why Linux hangs completely when it tries to access my Lexar JumpDrive Trio, either with or without an SD card in...). Sorry about the stupid question, should have double-checked!
