What would be the minimum requirements of a computer-computer USB cable?
USB Spec, Chapters 6,7,8 and 9.
Sigh, I'm not a hardware engineer, and the learning curve required for me to understand the USB Spec is prohibitive.
Sorry.
I was hoping to get a rough idea of what is required in terms of hardware and engineering effort.
Would anyone care to hazard a wild guess as to the NRE and parts costs involved in designing/building such a cable?
