Thanks for your detailed answer! Also had the usbnet connection to my pc running once.. but as you mentioned, the usbnet module on the pc-side does not load correctly anymore.. I have to take a look at that. But as the idea was to connect the zaurus directly (over the usb hub) to the cable modem, I probably do not even need to worry about this problem. With this setup, no additional (noisy) pc needs to be running to have a wlan access-point (small Ad-Hoc network). 'route' is available on openzaurus and I just installed 'iptables' binaries (which to my astonishment seem to work right away :-o ) If the external usb hub is not an issue, I should be able to set up the connection using route and iptables (need to buy a hub..) greets
