the system was unable to log to a local disk. But on a remote loghost we
can see messages from the time the machine crashed. Unfortunately there
are no messages regarding USB/disk timeouts, as there where shown on
the screen. The last regular log entry was shown ten seconds before
(ksymoops output follows).
